Bank Of Agriculture: Muhammad Babangida Cautions Against Misinformation, Accepts Board Chairman Appointment

Son of former President Ibrahim Babangida , Mr Muhammed Babangida on Monday cautioned Nigerians against misinformation on social media while clarifying and asserting that he did not at any point in time reject his appointment as chairman of the Bank of Agriculture.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Mr Muhammad Babangida in a statement he issued on Monday not only confirmed that he has accepted the appointment in question but also expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for giving him the opportunity to serve the nation.

He described the viral letter claiming that he rejected the appointment as fake while promising to ensure that the people who ‘produced’ the fake letter get punished.

 ‘We wish to clarify that Muhammed gratefully accepts the appointment as Chairman of the Bank of Agriculture, as announced by the Federal Government, and extends his sincere appreciation to President Tinubu for the trust and confidence bestowed upon him.

We also want to assure the public that those spreading these falsehoods will be thoroughly investigated and brought to justice. We remain committed to transparency, accountability, and fostering unity within our nation’ he said.
