2 PDP Lawmakers Leave Party For APC In Edo

Two members of Edo State House of Assembly; Eugene Inegbeboh (Igueben state constituency) and Andrew Uzamere (Ovia II state constituency) left their party for APC on Friday,

APC now has 20 members in the House of Assembly while PDP is left with only 4 members.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the State APC Chairman , Jarrett Tenebe, who received the lawmakers into the party at the state secretariat, Benincity, described the defection as part of the growing political consciousness across Edo State, adding that this aligns with the party’s accountability, vision, and inclusive development.

‘We are one family. The same honour and expectations accorded to long-standing members are equally extended to you.

Your coming is a reinforcement of what we stand for. We are welcoming two proven leaders whose experience will further enrich our party’s vision and grassroots reach.

Let us all take today as a reminder that the strength of the APC lies not just in our numbers, but in our unity, our discipline and our shared belief in a better Edo State.

As a party, we urge all Edo citizens to continue to give our governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, the full support and the enabling environment he needs to implement his people-centred programmes’ Tenebe said.
