2024 Edo PDP Guber Candidate Denies Leaving Party For APC
Mr Osarodion Ogie, who was the deputy governorship candidate of PDP in the 2024 Edo State governorship election, has described media reports claiming that he has left the party for APC as untrue.
He also added that he did not hold any meeting or discussion with top APC stakeholders as claimed while describing the media reports as the handiwork of mischief makers.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Ogie , who is the immediate past Secretary to the State Government, in a statement released on his behalf by Blessing Agbo described the media reports as a desperate attempt by the same elements who, alongside INEC and the judiciary, allegedly denied Edo State people of the most visionary and competent team to lead the state.
‘We have been made aware of a misleading post currently circulating on social media, falsely claiming that our respected father and political leader, Osarodion Ogie, has decamped to the All Progressives Congress. This falsehood, shared by one ‘Ohio’, is not only deceitful but full of calculated lies and manipulation.
Let it be known that Osarodion Ogie, the esteemed running mate to Asue Ighodalo, remains a committed and loyal member of the People’s Democratic Party.
At no point in time has he considered, initiated, or even entertained the idea of defecting to the APC. Any reports suggesting otherwise should be disregarded in their entirety.
We urge the public, supporters, and lovers of democracy to ignore these baseless rumours, stand firm and stay focused. The truth will always prevail and history will vindicate those who stood for it’ the statement added-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
