Ebonyi Governor Pardons Suspended Commissioners, SSAs, SAs

Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State on Tuesday disclosed that he has taken a decision to pardon 81 government officials who were suspended from their positions last month.

 The government officials in question were suspended for failing to attend a government event.

 Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the governor announced the decision to lift the suspension in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Dr Monday Uzor on Tuesday.

‘The affected commissioners, Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), Special Assistants (SAs) and permanent secretaries are to resume official duties immediately’ the statement said.

Government officials, who were suspended from their positions on July 28, are 26 commissioners including the Attorney General, 22 permanent secretaries, 14 senior special assistants, and 24 special assistants.
