Ijesha North PDP Stakeholders Declare Support For Gov Adeleke’s Re-election Bid, Get Ready For CVR Exercise
Party loyalty, unity and cohesion and participation in the Nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise that will begin on August 18, 2025, were given ‘special importance’ during the ‘important’ meeting attended by PDP stakeholders in Ijesha North federal constituency on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the 22 PDP ward chairmen in the federal constituency, the state Publicity Secretary, Hon. Ayodeji Areola, Commissioner for Environment and Sanitation, Hon. Mayowa Adejorin, Commissioner for Cooperatives and Empowerment, Hon. Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe, Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Otunba Tola Faseru, and other party leaders attended the meeting.
The PDP stakeholders emphasized the need for party members to sustain their loyalty to the party and to also ensure that they mobilize people to participate in the upcoming Nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.

The statement noted that a strategic committee was constituted during the meeting and tasked with ensuring that new eligible voters in the federal constituency get on the electoral register.
Party members in the federal constituency were also urged to ensure ‘unity of effort’ in respect of making Governor Ademola Adeleke get re-elected next year.
The statement added that sequel to recent PDP defections especially the National Assembly members; Hon. Oluwole Oke (Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency) and Senator Adenigba Fadahunsi (IFE/IJESA Senatorial District), the party leaders during the meeting presided over by High Chief Ayodele Faseru, emphasized the importance of grassroots engagement, unwavering dedication and loyalty to the PDP.
The leaders firmly assured party members that the party remains intact in the 22 wards in the federal constituency while noting that the upcoming CVR exercise is considered as a cornerstone for consolidating the electoral strength of PDP in Oriade and Obokun local governments.
In his remarks, Hon. Ayodeji Areola urged all party faithful to increase their outreach and advocacy, while Hon. Mayowa Adejorin chronicled the Governor Adeleke administration’s achievements and emphasized the need to ensure continuity.
Hon. Bayo Ogungbangbe and Otunba Tola Faseru in their separate speeches also urged attendees of the meeting to show resilient commitment and absolute loyalty to the party and the Governor Ademola Adeleke administration.
The Ijesha North PDP stakeholders also reaffirmed their total loyalty and support for the Governor Ademola Adeleke administration while promising to consolidate on all fronts to ensure that the governor gets re-elected in 2026.
