Federal Character Commission: President Tinubu Renominates Dankaka, 4 Others As 31 New Faces Join Team
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday renominated Dr Muheeba Dankaka as Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) for a fresh five-year term while Mohammed Musa has been appointed as the Commission’s secretary.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the president, who announced this in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information & Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, noted that a former member of the House of Representatives, Kayode Oladele from Ogun State, has also been renominated.
President Tinubu had in 2024 appointed Oladele as commissioner and he had served as acting chairman following the expiration of Dankaka’s first term.
Also renominated are Lawal Ya’u Roni, Abubakar Atiku Bunu and Eludayo Eluyemi, representing Jigawa, Kebbi and Osun States respectively.
Hon Eludayo Eluyemi, a prominent young politician in Osun State, who is an indigene of Ile-Ife, served as Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola’s Special Assistant during his administration.
Oyinlola served as governor of Osun State between 2003 and 2010.

The Federal Character Commission’s mandate is to ensure fair representation of all states and ethnic groups in federal appointments and socio-economic infrastructure and the senate is expected to hold ‘confirmation hearing’ for those who have been renominated by the president and the new faces.

12. Hon. Chief Victor Sabor Edoror, Edo
13. Hon. Sola Fokanle, Ekiti
