2026 Ekiti Guber Election: SSAs, SAs, TAs Back Gov Abiodun Oyebanji With N10m Donation

Those who are serving as Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, Senior Technical Assistants, and Technical Assistants, have made the sum of 10 million naira available for the purchase of the governor’s APC nomination and expression of interest forms ahead of the party’s gubernatorial primary election.

Governorship election will hold in the state next year and APC is expected to hold its gubernatorial primary election on October 27, 2025,

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the governor’s aides announced the donation  in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday.

They were all at the Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti for the presentation ceremony.

 Senior Special Assistant on Strategy, Hon Tope Olanipekun, who presented the cheque to the Chief of Staff, Mr Niyi Adebayo, asserted that Governor Oyebanji has demonstrated exceptional leadership, transparency, and dedication to the welfare of Ekiti people.

This, he noted, made them take the decision to urge support for his re-election while adding that they voluntarily contributed the money which reflected the confidence the aides have in the governor’s ability to sustain good governance.

The aides also noted that their decision was driven by the desire to ensure continuity of the governor’s policies and projects especially in respect of infrastructure, human capital development, and economic growth.

They promised to continue to mobilize stakeholders across the state to consolidate the governor’s achievements and ensure that he records an overwhelming victory in the upcoming guber election.

Responding on behalf of the governor, Mr Niyi Adebayo, who acknowledged the kind gesture with gratitude, commended the aides for their unwavering support and promised that the governor will justify the confidence reposed in him by sustaining his people-oriented governance.

Oyebanji , he added, sees the donation as more than just a financial contribution but as a demonstration of shared vision and collective responsibility for the progress of the state

‘The governor remains grateful for the confidence reposed in his leadership and will continue to run an open, inclusive, and transparent government’ he said.
