A former member of Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon Moshood Bakare on Sunday visited victims of banditry in Babanla at a private hospital and the General Hospital, Ilorin, and wished them a speedy recovery.
Calling it ‘a senseless attack’, the former state lawmaker , who is the Chairman of Moshood Bakare Foundation, noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that he visited the injured people, who are currently receiving treatments, to show compassion and solidarity with the residents of the affected town in their difficult time.
The visit to the victims, he added, is also aimed at offering support, empathy, and showing commitment to the wellbeing of those affected by the tragic event.
The statement added that during the visit, Hon. Bakare stood at the hospital bedside of each of the survivors, listening to their stories and offering words of encouragement.
‘My heart goes out to every single person affected by this senseless act of violence.
What happened to the Babanla community is a tragedy that touches us all. We cannot erase the pain, but we can stand together, show our support, and ensure that those in recovery know they are not alone’ the statement quoted the Ifelodun/Oyun/Offa PDP House of Representatives aspirant as saying .
