Transparent, Consensus-Driven PDP Ward Congresses Evidence Of Our Resolve To Make A Comeback In Kwara-Saraki

Former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has applauded the peaceful and orderly conduct of the PDP ward congresses held in Kwara State on Saturday, submitting that this has made it clear that the party is ready to stage a comeback in the state in 2027.

In a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his Press Officer on Local Matters, Mr Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, Dr Bukola Saraki expressed delight at the massive turnout of party members, noting that the exercise has once again, demonstrated unity in the party and commitment to internal democracy.

He described the congresses held in the 193 wards in the state as a reflection of the party’s growing strength in the State of Harmony, emphasizing that the transparent and consensus-driven process underscored the readiness of the PDP to reclaim leadership at all levels in the state.

The former Senate President commended members for conducting themselves in an exemplary manner throughout the exercise, stressing that the peaceful outcome was a testament to the collective resolve of the PDP family to work together in harmony.

While congratulating the newly elected ward executives, Dr. Saraki urged them to see their emergence as a call to service and an opportunity to strengthen the party at the grassroots. He also urged them to embrace inclusivity, fairness, and dedication in discharging their responsibilities.

‘The task before the new ward leaders is enormous. They must serve as unifying pillars, mobilizers, and true representatives of the aspirations of our people. Their commitment at the grassroots will define the strength of our collective journey as a party’ the statement quoted him as saying.
