New NACS National Vice Chairman Promises To Make A Meaningful Difference, Thanks Gov Abiodun, Osoba, Others For Their Support
 Secretary of Odeda Local Government, Ogun State, Hon. Oyekunle Adebayo has emerged as National Vice Chairman (Southwest) of the Nigerian Association of Council Secretaries (NACS) and he has promised to work together with other members of the new exco to make a difference and change the face of the association.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that Hon. Oyekunle Adebayo ,who said this during the swearing in ceremony of the new NACS exco in Abuja, described the appointment as a special honour and a call to greater service.
He also expressed gratitude to members of NACS for entrusting him with the role.
Hon Adebayo thanked Ogun State APC bigwigs including Governor Dapo Abiodun, former governor Olusegun Osoba, Speaker of the state House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, and the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi for their mentorship and support.
He also thanked Hon Folasade Adeyemo Chairman of Odeda Local Government, Alhaji Adebayo Samsudeen Apelogun National President of ACOMORAN, Chief Showunmi P.K.A IYO, Chairman of the Cocoa Association of Nigeria (Ogun State Chapter), and Mr. Joseph Olusegun James, President of Renaissance Cooperative, among others for their encouragement and support.
Adebayo further expressed appreciation to support groups including the Redemption Mission Group (RMG) and the Coalition of Progressive Youths (COPY), pledging to use his new position to advance grassroots development and strengthen local government administration in the country.
He dedicated the new achievement to the people of Odeda Local Government, Ogun State, and the entire Southwest, promising to work diligently to justify the confidence reposed in him.
As he embarks on this new chapter of his career, Adebayo said he is filled with excitement and anticipation for the opportunities that lie ahead while assuring the Council Secretaries of the 137 Local Governments in the Southwest Region and other Local Governments in the country of his commitment to their collective progress.
To his fellow Council Secretaries and the National Executives of NACS, he pledged to work tirelessly to justify the trust and confidence reposed in him and noted that he looks forward to collaborating with others to drive progress in the local governments and make a meaningful difference in the lives of Nigerian citizens.
He outlined a clear agenda, stressing that his leadership will be focused on promoting grassroots development and community engagement, fostering collaboration and synergy among stakeholders, advocating for policies and programmes that will benefit local governments and citizens, and enhance the capacity of local government officials through training and development initiatives.
Adebayo noted that he is committed to working closely with the National Chairman of NACS, Hon. Nankin Matthew Dafoum and other national executives to achieve the association’s goals and objectives while urging all stakeholders to join hands with the NACS leadership to build a brighter future for the 774 local governments in the country.
