Free And Fair Convention Key To Our 2027 Comeback-Gov Makinde
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has emphasized the need for PDP leaders and members to ensure a free and fair national convention next month noting that this will help the party to launch a comeback in 2027.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Governor Seyi Makinde, who said this in a newsletter he released on Thursday evening, also noted that a free and fair national convention will strengthen the ongoing repositioning efforts in the party.
The party’s elective convention is scheduled to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State between November 15 and 16.
Governor Makinde also said the recently held Oyo State PDP congress which was hitch-free has shown what could be achieved at the November convention.
‘The recent PDP Oyo State Congress was held without rancour, and we now look forward to our Ibadan convention in November with hope rather than fear. This is a major win for the party, for democracy, and for you, the people.
We must guard this momentum.
