Court Gives 2 TikTokers Known For Posting Obscene Content 60-Day Ultimatum To Get Married In Kano

Two TikTokers, who were known for posting obscene content and acting romantically, Idris Mai Wushirya and Basira Yar Guda have been given 60-day ultimatum to exchange marriage vows.

 Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Magistrate Halima Wali of the Magistrates’ Court, Kano gave this order following a series of viral videos in which the two TikTokers acted romantically which were considered ‘indecent’ by the Kano State Films and Video Censorship Board.

Recall that Idris and Basira were brought before Magistrate Halimah two weeks ago and accused of producing and posting obscene content online.

Some of the videos had featured romantic acts between Mai Wushirya and Yar Guda and the Censorship Board had noted that these violated the moral and religious codes guiding public conduct in the state.

The  court has ordered the Kano State Hisbah Board to facilitate the marriage process between the two TikTokers.

While delivering her ruling, Magistrate Halimah warned that failure to conduct the marriage within the stipulated period would amount to contempt of court and further directed the chairman of the Kano State Films and Video Censorship Board to supervise the marriage process-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
