My Hit Song ‘African Queen’ Came With Blessings, Problematic Situation-2Face
Innocent Idibia, who is popularly called 2Baba, has disclosed that while his hit song ‘African Queen’ has brought him blessings, it has also made him face a problematic situation.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Idibia, who released an open letter to mark his 25th anniversary as a musician last month, while speaking during the Entertainment & Lifestyle show said the song that was released in 2004 gave his career its defining spark while it has also brought a problematic situation.
‘That song has been a very huge blessing and e don turn to problem join for me, you know, but Like I said earlier, I’m grateful for everything.
There are so many other songs I have that are brilliant, and many people resonate with them too’ he said.
Recall that the hit song in question that was released in 2004 made Idibia earn awards that include BET, MTV Europe, and MOBO honours.
However, former Plantashun Boiz bandmate, Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, who is popularly called Blackface, has repeatedly accused Idibia of stealing the song.
