Kwara APC Members Leave Party For PDP In Kaiama LG

Some members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State on Wednesday left their party for PDP in Kaiama Local Government.

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the APC defectors from across the local government were led by Comrade Abdullahi Aliyu.

The statement also added that the APC defectors in a joint letter of resignation cited failure of the ‘Otoge’ government headed by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to fulfill promises made to the people of Kaiama LG.

They also accused the AbdulRazaq administration of running what they described as a ‘Monkey dey work, baboon dey chop’ style of governance, lamenting widespread marginalization, insincerity, and lack of inclusiveness in the affairs of both the party and the state government.

Leading the defectors to the PDP, Comrade Abdullahi Aliyu declared that there is no longer a future for the people of Kwara State in the APC, stressing that they have chosen to align with the PDP — a party that stands as a symbol of inclusiveness, fairness, and development-oriented politics.

The new PDP members were warmly received into the party by the immediate past State Youth Leader, who is currently the Director of Youth Mobilization, Hon. Mohammed Abdulmumeen, chairman of the party in Kaiama Local Government, Hon.
