Ignore Media Reports, No ‘Unidentified Men’ Tried To Kill Lt. Ahmed Yerima In Abuja-FCT Police Command
The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has described as untrue media reports claiming that some unidentified men tried to attack and kill Lt. Ahmed Yerima in Abuja .
Recall that media reports had claimed that Yerima was trailed by unidentified men dressed in black, who were inside two unmarked Hilux vans without number plates in Abuja while adding that the pursuit began at about 6:30 p.m. at the NIPCO filling station along the Kubwa Expressway and continued to Gado Nasco Way.
Yerima reportedly escaped because of a ‘strategic manoeuvre’ during a high-speed chase.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the FCT Police Command’s spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, in a statement she issued on Sunday night however described the claim as entirely false.
‘The attention of the FCT Police Command has been drawn to publications circulating on social media alleging an attempted assassination on Lt. Ahmed Yerima.
The command wishes to categorically state that no such incident has been reported or recorded anywhere within the Federal Capital Territory.
The public is advised to disregard this false information and desist from spreading unverified claims capable of causing unnecessary panic’ the statement said.
The FCT Police Command also urged members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the nearest police division.
Recall that Lt. Ahmed Yerima has been in the spotlight since November 11,2025, when he had a heated exchange with FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesome Wike in Gaduwa District, Abuja-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
