Gov Idris Visits President Tinubu In Abuja
Kebbi State governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), on Friday held a crucial meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted that ‘national security’ was discussed during the meeting with a particular focus on the successful military operation that led to the rescue of the 25 students who were abducted at Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School, Maga, Danko Wasagu, Kebbi State a few days ago.
‘President Tinubu congratulated Governor Nasir Idris on the safe return of the schoolgirls while the Kebbi State governor expressed profound gratitude to the president for his decisive leadership and support whilst the ordeal lasted especially for directing the Minister of State for Defence, Muhammad Bello Matawalle, to relocate to Kebbi State to coordinate and facilitate the swift and successful rescue mission.
