2025 Akoraye Day: Gov Adeleke Promises More Dividends Of Democracy, Urges Continued Support For His Administration
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has assured the people of Modakeke that his administration will continue to prioritize infrastructure development of the ancient town.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the governor’s spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed noted that he gave this assurance on Saturday while giving his speech during the 2025 Akoraye Day.
The statement added that sons and daughters of Modakeke also shut down the town to declare their support for the governor’s re-election bid.
Commending the people of Modakeke for sustaining the reigning peace, the governor told them that his administration has given approval for the construction of Famia road beside the AP/Orona/Itasin while noting that the 2 kilometre Celestial/Ajape roads that have already been completed.
He highlighted some of the dividends of good governance delivered to the people of the town to include construction of blocks of classrooms at different public schools in Modakeke and other towns across the 30 Local Government areas in the State.
According to the governor, the state government has delivered the ‘construction of 2 Blocks of classrooms at Baptist Primary School, Iraye, construction of 2 Blocks of classroom at C A C Primary School Ondo Road, renovation of School Hall at St Stephens ‘A’ Primary School Itasin, construction of 3 Blocks of classroom at Community Primary School Irebami, and construction of 3 Blocks of classroom at St Stephens C Primary School, all in Modakeke’.
The governor urged continued support for his administration as the 2026 governorship election approaches.
