40-Year-Old Man Killed , Dismembered By 2 Yahoo Boys In Ogun…We Got  Ritual Requirements From Facebook User –Suspects

Two suspected Internet fraudsters, known in street parlance as  Yahoo boys;  Friday Odeh, 21, and Poso Idowu, 20, have  been arrested and  taken into custody by  the police in Ogun state.

They have been accused of allegedly killing  and dismembering a 40-year-old man, Abdullahi Azeez in the Owode-Egba area of  the state three months ago.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned Spokesman  for the state Police command,  Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.

Oyeyemi said a relative of the victim had reported to officers at the Owode-Egba divisional police headquarters on June 9, 2022 that his brother was missing adding that the victim had left his house in Kobape area on June 8, 2022, and did not return home.

 ‘Upon the report, the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, directed the anti-kidnapping unit of the State Criminal Investigation Department to take over the investigation and unravel the mystery behind the sudden disappearance of the man.

In compliance with the CP’s directive, the SP Taiwo Opadiran-led team subsequently embarked on a technical and intelligence-based investigation, which led  to the discovery of the hideout of  Abinya Friday  Odeh on September 22, 2022, where the SIM card of the victim was recovered.

This led to his arrest and that  of his accomplice, Poso Idowu. On interrogation, the suspects confessed that they kidnapped the victim on June 8, 2022, at the Kobape area at about  7.30pm, from where they forcefully took him to the bush, killed him and dismembered him.

They confessed further that it was a herbalist, identified simply as Arab Money, who they claimed to have contacted on Facebook,  that prescribed the ritual requirements. All efforts to recover the remains of the victim proved abortive, as the suspects claimed to have disposed of the dismembered body’ Oyeyemi said.
