Kwara South: Nurudeen Adeyemi Energizes Senate Bid With Inauguration Of ENACT Women Vanguard, Youth Brigade
A leading Kwara South APC senate aspirant, Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun on Wednesday inaugurated two groups that comprise women and young people who will play important role in drumming up support for his candidacy ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, who is a member of the Board of Trustees of TETFund, inaugurated the ENACT Women Vanguard and the ENACT Youth Brigade on Wednesday urging the members to take the forefront in presenting his ‘value proposition’ to the people and convincing them that he will ensure quality representation if elected representative of Kwara South in the senate.
ENACT is an acronym for ‘Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Contact Team’.
Others who gave speeches at the event including the leader of Kwara South Unity Group (KSUG) , Hon Adebayo Jimoh Alao, former chairman of Isin local government, Mr Tunde Fadipe , Secretary, APC Elders Caucus, Irepodun local government, Professor Bashir Olaitan submitted that unrestricted by physical boundaries, women and young people play a significant role in mobilizing support for political candidates urging them to give the assignment the most serious attention.
The Women Vanguard has Alhaja Barakat Atunse, who is from Igbomina bloc, as Woman Leader, the Secretary, Hajia Toyin Jimoh from Ekiti bloc and the Engagement Officer, Mrs Rasheedat Ayobami from the Ibolo axis.
