What God Told Me About Collection Of Offerings-Pastor Isaac Oyedepo
Founder of the Isaac Oyedepo Evangelistic Ministries, Pastor Isaac Oyedepo has disclosed what God told him about collection of offerings submitting that things will be done differently in his own church.
While noting that the Isaac Oyedepo Evangelistic Ministries will soon begin to hold church service in Abuja on Sundays there will however be nothing like collection of offerings.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the pastor, who said this in a story published by Church Times on Tuesday, also noted that he had done this in line with Godâs instruction.
In a viral video, Pastor Oyedepo noted that the primary focus of his ministry is discipleship and equipping people to follow Jesus, rather than traditional ways of doing things in respect of finance.
He said God gave him specific instructions not to collect offerings while noting however that there is nothing inherently wrong with doing this in other ministries.
Pastor Isaac Oyedepo said âfor this specific assignmentâ, his focus must remain solely on the spiritual development of the people.
He also noted that his approach is modeled after the early ministry of Jesus Christ.
âAll Jesus did during his early ministry was to make disciples; the fire fell, and they were filled and refilled. Before He left, He commanded us to do the sameâ he submitted while adding that spiritual growth requires a âconsistent journeyâ through the Word of God.
âHow healthy would our churches be if people were truly deep in the Scriptures?â he asked.
Pastor Isaac Oyedepo, who was born on February 26, 1985, is the son of the Founder of the Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo.
He announced the establishment of Isaac Oyedepo Evangelistic Ministries on November 28, 2023-Team@orientactualmags.com   Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
