A group, the Kwara Youths Development Advocate (KYDA) on Tuesday accused supporters of former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki of planning to spread falsehood about the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration.
The group in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its Team Lead, Adeola Omosanya, cautioned the opposition members to stop misleading the people while accusing the said Saraki supporters of incitement to hatred.
‘Kwara is a state of harmony. We totally frown against attempts of the opposition PDP under Bukola Saraki to disturb the peace and tranquility of the state by spreading rumours and creating fear in the people’ the group said.
Omosanya claimed that the opposition members had begun to spread rumours that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq will retrench civil servants that had spent 27 or 30 years in service and also stop paying minimum wage if he gets a second term.
“That information is not only mischievous, but also unnecessarily intended to create fears among the people and disturb the peace we are enjoying in Kwara State. It is now glaring that the PDP has run out of ideas. They come out to tell lies everyday. They have a liar as a spokesman.
We can understand that the PDP and its elements are jittery about the outstanding impacts and achievements that Governor AbdulRazaq has recorded in the state’s civil service within just 3 years, which they had failed woefully at in their 16 locust years. They have therefore started spreading propaganda to mislead the people’ the statement said.
