No Cause For Alarm, ‘State Visit’ Going Ahead As Planned… President Tinubu Only Tripped Over Metal-Presidency
The presidency submitted on Tuesday night that there is no cause for alarm while noting that President Bola Tinubu’s state visit to Turkey is going ahead as planned.
The presidency also asserted that President Tinubu is fit and healthy.
Recall that the president had made news after falling while walking with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other Turkish political figures at the presidential palace, Ankara earlier in the day.
He had gotten a warm welcome at the presidential palace on the outskirts of Ankara, the country’s capital.
The president however suddenly fell while walking towards the dais alongside President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other Turkish political figures.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the president’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication, Mr Sunday Dare, who commented on the incident in an X.com post on Tuesday, said ‘all is well’.
‘President Tinubu, after a stately welcome ceremony in Ankara, proceeded to scheduled bilateral meetings with the President of Türkiye and other senior government officials
The meetings aim to deepen diplomatic relations and expand cooperation across strategic sectors.
Areas of engagement include defence and security, trade and investment, energy, and broader economic development.
The smooth progression of the visit reflects growing ties between Nigeria and Türkiye and underscores Nigeria’s renewed diplomatic outreach under President Tinubu’ he said.

In the meanwhile, the president’s media aide, Mr Bayo Onanuga has also shed some light on the issue disclosing that his boss tripped over a metal and fell while walking towards the dais alongside President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other Turkish political figures.
‘The president stepped on a metal on the floor, which made him lose his balance.
This is not a big deal, except for those who want to make mischief out of a fleeting incident.
It was a mere stumble, thank God, not a fall’ he added.
Mr Onanuga urged the public to disregard attempts to sensationalize the minor incident asserting that President Tinubu remains fit and healthy-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
