Schools across Kwara State can now reopen from Monday, February 2, 2026, the state government announced on Sunday.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, who is the state Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, said school authorities have been notified of the decision which came amid continued military operations and security actions to neutralize all threats to the public, including schools.
‘The government deems the situation now to be a lot better than it was before. Even so, we will continue to maintain vigilance.
