A final year student at the Kwara State University, Malete, Idris Aremu Agboluaje has died in a motorcycle crash.
It was gathered that Idris Agboluaje had unintentionally left his student ID card at his off-campus hostel and did not realize this until he was about to enter the examination hall.
 He was however reportedly stopped from entering the examination hall and he had subsequently left post-haste for his hostel to pick up the student ID card.
Idris mounted his motorcycle and headed for his hostel.
Sadly, the young man, a student at the Department of Business Education, never got to his destination as he died in a bike crash.
The institution in a statement issued by its Registrar, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com mourned the passing of Idris Aremu Agboluaje while noting that losing a promising young man is ‘painful’.
‘The Management of Kwara State University, Malete, on behalf of the entire University Community commiserates with the family and loved ones of a final year student who died in an unfortunate road accident on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 in Malete.
Idris Aremu Agboluaje was said to be on his way to campus to take an examination when the accident happened.
