Nigerians Don’t Value What They Have, They ‘Demarket’ Leaders Who Are Respected Abroad-Remi Tinubu
Nigeria’s First Lady, Mrs Remi Tinubu has submitted that the nation’s citizens do not value what they have and have been busy ‘demarketing’ leaders who are respected abroad especially on social media.
She has said this barely 24 hours after President Donald Trump of United States of America described her as a ‘very respected woman’ during the National Prayer Breakfast held in Washington, D.C .
The National Prayer Breakfast was held on Thursday and President Trump had while giving his speech during the annual event that was attended by members of the US Congress, religious leaders and international guests, called Mrs Remi Tinubu ‘a very respected woman’ .
His speech centered on faith, leadership and global religious freedom.
‘We’re honoured to be joined today by the First Lady of Nigeria, who also happens to serve as a Christian pastor at the largest church in Nigeria.
A very respected woman. First Lady, please, where are you? Thank you very much. It’s a great honour. Very respected person, too’ President Trump said.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the First Lady in a Facebook post on Friday indirectly commented on the good comments made about her by President Donald Trump while noting that many Nigerians have failed to value what they have ‘because of hatred and the narratives planted in their minds by the political paymasters’.
‘Most of our leaders are highly respected and honoured abroad, yet many Nigerians fail to value what they have because of hatred and the narratives planted in their minds by political paymasters, which have also hardened their hearts.
They bully these leaders, speak ill of them, demean them, curse them, and even seize upon their mistakes to drag them across social media, ridiculing and mocking them publicly.
Nigeria is built on love, unity, and collective effort toward shared success. Let us come together to support our respected leaders and work hand in hand with them to make our country great’ she said-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
