My Supporter Gifted Female TikToker Car, Lock-up Shop… I Knew Nothing About It-Sokoto Governor
Sokoto State Government has clarified and submitted that it was one of the supporters of the Governor Ahmed Aliyu administration who gifted a Kaduna-based female TikToker, Rahama Saidu a car and a lock-up shop while the governor knew nothing about it.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the governor’s spokesman, Mr Abubakar Bawa, who made the clarification in a statement he issued in Sokoto on Sunday, also noted Sanin Jaman one of the supporters of the current administration in the state had done this in appreciation of Rahama’s support for the Governor Ahmed Aliyu administration .

‘The Office wishes to categorically dissociate Governor Ahmed Aliyu from the said donation, as it has no connection whatsoever with the governor or the Sokoto State Government.
I want to make it categorically clear that the said donation has nothing to do with Governor Ahmed Aliyu. It was purely personal between the two of them — the giver and the beneficiary’ the statement said.
Submitting that although the current administration in the state welcomes genuine support from well-meaning citizens, such contributions, he noted, should however be channeled through proper and more impactful means that align with the governor’s development priorities.
Bawa urged donors, individuals and corporate bodies wishing to complement the government’s intervention efforts to henceforth prioritize the Aliyu administration’s nine-point SMART agenda, including tackling insecurity, moral upbringing, youth empowerment, environmental sanitation, education, healthcare delivery, and support for vulnerable groups such as orphans, widows and persons living with disabilities.
They should also according to him attach importance to the plight of displaced persons affected by banditry within and outside the Sokoto metropolis-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
