With the holy month of Ramadan and the lent period ongoing simultaneously, Asiwaju of Oro Kingdom, retired Surgeon Rear Admiral Abdulazeez Adebayo Afolayan has offered his greetings and best wishes to Muslims and Christians in Oro kingdom.
Oro is a town located in Irepodun local government, Kwara State.
Asiwaju of Oro Kingdom in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com also preached unity, and love while noting that ‘in unity, we will achieve greatness’.
‘As we welcome this holy month of ‘Double Fast’, I extend my warmest greetings to all Muslims and Christian brethren across Oro Kingdom.
It is my sincere hope that the period of fasting, prayer and repentance will strengthen harmony among the people of the kingdom and a period to reaffirm their steadfast support for Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye, Olufayo II, the Oloro of Oro Kingdom to ensure that his reign brings peace, unity and progress.
While considering the task before us, as a united and indivisible kingdom, let us walk this path together-with hope, courage, and faith-as one family. From this day onward, let us not dwell on the divisions of yesterday, but focus on the opportunities of tomorrow. In unity, we will achieve greatness.
