Ramadan: Saraki Holds Iftar Dinner With Ilorin West LG Stakeholders, Promises To Reward Loyalty, Appreciate Sacrifices

Former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki on Sunday continued his Ramadan outreach across Kwara State hosting another round of Iftar dinner with party leaders, ward executives, and stakeholders drawn from across Ilorin West Local Government.

The Iftar dinner held shortly after the Maghrib prayer in Ilorin, forms part of Saraki’s ongoing Ramadan activities aimed at strengthening ties with party faithful and the wider community during this holy month.

Following the breaking of fast, the Waziri ngeri of Ilorin, joined worshippers for the Ishai prayer and the daily congregational Taraweeh, in keeping with his tradition of observing the spiritual period among the people.

Dr Saraki’s Press Officer on Local Matters, Mr Abdulganiyu Abdulqadri noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that the engagement is part of the former Senate President’s deliberate effort to maintain close interaction with party members and citizens throughout the holy month of Ramadan, while encouraging unity, devotion, and service to the people.

Barrister Abdulazeez Musere, an Ilorin West LG PDP stakeholder, commended Dr Saraki for his consistent support for party members and grassroots mobilization efforts. He particularly appreciated the assistance given towards the registration drive, Ramadan welfare packages, and the allocation of Umrah slots to members across the state.

Also speaking, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, the PDP chairman in Badari Ward, praised Saraki’s sustained commitment to the welfare of party faithful, noting that his support for members has remained steady despite not holding a public office.

According to them, the kind gestures reflect the sincerity of Saraki’s leadership style and his enduring connection with the people.

Sources close to the former Senate President disclosed that tens of Kwarans will be traveling with him to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this Ramadan for Umrah, the lesser hajj which further underscores his continued religious and humanitarian engagement with Kwarans.

Addressing the gathering, Saraki commended party executives, stakeholders, and members across the state for their steadfast commitment to the growth and stability of the party.
