Man Arrested For Yelling ‘No Water’, ‘No Light’ During Gov Bago’s Visit To Emir Of Suleja’s Palace Released From Police Custody
A resident of Niger State, Hamisu Abdullahi, who is 38 years old, has been released by the police after being kept behind bars for five days.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Hamisu Abdulahi was arrested after trying to cause a commotion during Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago’s visit to the Emir of Suleja’s palace on Friday.
He was allegedly arrested for yelling ‘no water, no light’.

Spokesman for Niger State police command, SP Wasiu Abiodun said the suspect was arrested for attempting to cause a commotion during the governor’s visit to the monarch after the eid-el-fitri prayer.
‘One Hamisu Abdullahi, 38, of Suleja, was arrested and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Minna, on March 20, 2026, for suspected thuggery and attempting to disrupt government activities during the Sallah visit.
However, he was later granted bail while investigation continues’ he said.
