Easter: Asiwaju Of Oro Congratulates Christian Faithful

As the season of Lent finally comes to a close, retired Rear Admiral Abdulazeez Adebayo Afolayan has on behalf of His Royal Majesty, Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye Olufayo II and the Oloro-in-Council, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the entire Christian faithful in Oro Kingdom and Oro people in the Diaspora.

In a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Friday, retired Rear Admiral Abdulazeez Adebayo Afolayan not only congratulated Christians in Oro and Kwara State as a whole but also urged them to carry on the noble lessons of Easter—patience, generosity, humility, and love for one another—beyond the fasting period.

‘I send warm wishes to them for an Easter period filled with love, laughter and hope.

Following the period of fasting, prayer, and deep spiritual reflection, this blessed period marks a significant milestone of spiritual rejuvenation and thanksgiving; I pray that the Almighty God accepts the sacrifices, acts of worship, and earnest supplications rendered throughout this sacred period.

Again, as they celebrate with families and loved ones, I urge all the Christian faithful to carry on the noble lessons of Easter—patience, generosity, humility, and love for one another—beyond the fasting period.

Easter is a time to embrace the spirit of unity and kindness and I again, urge everyone to look out for the less privileged friends, brothers, and sisters while extending a helping hand to share the joys of this moment with them.
