Olufolake Abdulrazaq Commends Bolakale Mogaji, Nurudeen Adeyemi For Advancing Women’s Football In Kwara  

Kwara State First Lady, Professor Olufolake AbdulRazaq, has praised the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Coach Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, and the founder of ENACT Innovation Hub, Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi for their unwavering commitment to the growth of female football in the State of Harmony.

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the First Lady gave the commendation on Thursday, April 16, 2026, during the semi-final matches of the Kwara First Lady Female Pre-Season Football Tournament held at the state stadium, Ilorin.

The tournament, sponsored by Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi and supported by the Kwara State Sports Commission, has become a major platform for promoting women’s football and encouraging young female athletes across the region.

Professor AbdulRazaq expressed satisfaction with the level of organization and participation in the competition, describing the initiative as a strong example of youth empowerment and gender inclusion in sports.

According to her, the tournament reflects the growing commitment to ensuring that young girls in the state are given equal opportunities to develop their talents and pursue careers in sports.

She specifically commended Coach Mogaji for his continued support for sports development in the state, especially his encouragement of women’s football which, she noted, is gaining steady momentum in Kwara.

The First Lady also acknowledged Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi for his financial and moral support for the competition, urging him to sustain his investment in sports development, especially in creating opportunities for female footballers.

The semi-final matches produced exciting results as Kwara United Queens defeated FUOYE of Ekiti State 4–1 to secure a place in the final, while Jagunmolu Queens edged Wazbak Queens 5–4 on penalties after a 1–1 draw in regulation time.
