Toyin Ayo: Ilorin-Based Cleric Urges Muslims To Prioritize Eternal Life Over Wordily Things
An Ilorin-based cleric, Sheikh Saad Khalipha Pesere has urged Muslims in the country and people of other faiths to prioritize the hereafter over worldly things noting that it is important to shift focus from temporary pleasures to eternal and spiritual rewards.
Sheikh Saad Khalipha Pesere, who said this during the prayer service held to mark the 10th death anniversary of Dr Toyin Ayo in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, on Friday, also emphasized the need for Muslims to renew their relationship with the Holy Qur’an and deepen their faith in God.
Attention on worldly things and ‘corruption of the heart’ have according to him made people get far away from their creator.
The prayer service held at the deceased person’s family house in Gegele area of Ilorin was attended by dignitaries including Alhaji Musa Abdulahi , Alhaji Gani Galadima, Alhaji Jimoh Olanrewaju,, Alhaji Fatahi Bakini, Mr Layi Oba Jimba, a popular tiktoker, Mr Saadu Abdulrafiu Agaka, and Prince Saheed Ayantola.




Talking to Team@orientactualmags.com , Alhaji Musa Abdulahi said the late Dr Toyin Ayo was a genuinely good person who will continue to be remembered for being compassionate.

‘We thank Almighty God for everything. Dr Toyin Ayo’s death ten years ago was a monumental loss. He was very humble and selfless, his death has created a lot of vacuums that will be difficult to fill’ he said.
.Former ACPN presidential candidate, Alhaji Ganiyu Galadima also submitted that the late Dr Toyin Ayo’s vibrant energy, humor, and generous spirit brought so much light into the lives of everyone around him.
‘Dr Toyin Ayo was a nice man, he was very kind , generous and accommodating. We should emulate people like him. We should support people around us and do good to all’ he added.
Alhaji Abubakar Alaba Yahaya, who also paid tribute to Dr Toyin Ayo, said he, the deceased person and others had their childhood together and he was a complete gentleman.
‘We grew up together, he was a complete gentleman. I missed his wise counsel. He was philosophical about things, it is difficult to believe that he left ten years ago, He was a wonderful family man’ he said.
The late Dr Toyin Ayo’s younger brother, Hon Kale Ayo, a former Commissioner for Sports, also described the deceased person as a perfect gentleman and a good-natured person while lamenting that he is being sorely missed.
