Gov Abdulrazaq Administration Has Put LG Autonomy Into Full Effect In Kwara-Saadu Salahu
Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s Senior Adviser and Counselor, Alhaji Saadu Salahu has asserted that local government autonomy has been put into full effect under the current administration in Kwara State while noting that his boss has ensured that this is done in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Ahmed Bola Tinubu administration.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that Salahu said this in Ilorin, the state capital, when members of Ayegbami community, Dada, Okelele paid him a thank-you visit for his role in ensuring the repair of a vandalized transformer in the area.
The statement noted that Ilorin East local government provided funds for the repair of the transformer in question.
Salahu said the kind gesture of the Ilorin East local government showed that local government administration in Kwara State has been very effective under the President Bola Tinubu and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administrations.
He praised the governor for implementing full local government autonomy which has revived the hitherto moribund local government administration in the state cognizant that heads of local governments in the state are now given free hands to operate.
Alhaji Salahu added that dividends of democracy are being felt at the grassroots level in all the local governments in the state.
‘In Ibagun Ward in particular, Ilorin East local government has remodeled the Upper Area Court Complex in Akerebiata, along Sobi Army Barrack road, Ilorin, donated a transformer to Igbawere community, constructed drainage and graded Abata Jagun, Sorafaja/ Al- Nur road; repaired boreholes at Olaoparun, Omitopo , Dada, Alawo- Nla areas and Kankatu Market which was equally remodeled after a rainstorm not long ago’ he added.
