Political Violence: Gov Adeleke Providing Refuge For Political Thugs In Govt House, He Misled British Govt Delegation-Osun APC
Osun State APC has accused Governor Ademola Adeleke of misleading the delegation of British Government officials that visited him in Osogbo on Monday ahead of the 15th August, 2026 gubernatorial election.
The party said Governor Adeleke misled the British Government officials about political violence in the state submitting that the real protagonists and promoters of political violence in the state are the governor and his government.
The party also noted that Governor Adeleke had asked the visiting British Government delegation led by the Senior Political Advisor, Wale Adebajo to ensure that Britain imposes economic sanctions and visa ban on Minister of Marine and Blue Economy; Mr Gboyega Oyetola, Senator Francis Fadahunsi, APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji AMBO, the Director General of his campaign organization, Rep Wole Oke, and other APC bigwigs for allegedly aiding and abetting political violence in the state while adding that this is an impossible utopia.
The party in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its spokesman, Mogaji Kola Olabisi argued that there are no valid reasons to request for such punitive actions against the aforementioned APC bigwigs.
‘If we may ask, which court or commission of enquiry indicted the APC chieftains as being responsible for aiding and abetting political violence in Osun State ahead of the forthcoming governorship election?
One would have thought that the lying and grossly incompetent governor would be bold enough to tell the visiting delegation of the British Government how he has been frustrating the job of the police by harbouring dangerous political hoodlums at the Government House to evade arrest.
How did it elude the memory of Governor Adeleke to tell his guests that no fewer than 30 members and supporters of our party were dispatched to heaven by the defunct Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) thugs before the 2022 governorship election?
Why did the governor who is desperate to win re-election fail to inform the visiting delegation of the British Government officials that some of his aides are standing trial in an Abuja court over the killing of our chieftain, Honourable Remi Abass, former chairman of Irewole Local Government over a year ago?
It will be of interest to the visiting British Government delegation how four members of our party were killed in the ancient town of Ilesa within three days by the Accord Party thugs sometime last month’ the statement said.
The party urged the visiting British Government delegation to disregard the accusations raised against ‘our chieftains and members’ by Governor Adeleke because past events have shown that he has been using lies, falsehoods and subterfuge to run his government.
‘Governor Adeleke is guilty of the crimes he is mischievously hanging on our party, leaders and members’ the statement added-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
