Woman Suffering From Hallucination Uses Pestle To Kill Co-wife In Bauchi
A young woman, Hauwa’u Haruna, has been arrested and taken into custody by the police in Bauchi State.
The 33-year-old Hauwa’u was accused of killing her co-wife at their residence in Bauchi.
The incident occurred at Tafawa Balewa Housing Estate, Bauchi metropolis.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that spokesman for the state police command, SP Nafiu Habib, who disclosed this in a statement he issued on Monday, added that the incident occurred on September 27, 2026, at about 4:05pm.
The C-Division, Bauchi, he added, received credible information about a domestic incident involving two co-wives noting that preliminary investigation revealed that the second wife, Hauwa’u Haruna while suffering from hallucinations, hit the senior wife , Jamila Adamu with a pestle on the forehead, causing her to fall unconscious.
43-year-old Jamila was rushed to the Specialist Hospital, Bauchi where she was declared a brought-in- dead patient.
Hauwa’u was arrested immediately and taken into custody.
The statement noted that head of the state police command, Sani-Omolori Aliyu, a Commissioner of Police, has directed that the case should be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for discreet investigation and prosecution.
