Oyebamiji Congratulates Oyetola On His 72nd Birthday, Praises His Integrity, Leadership

Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, who was the APC governorship candidate in the August 15, 2026 gubernatorial election in Osun State, has eulogized his boss and mentor, Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Mr Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola on the occasion of his 72nd birthday. 

Oyebamiji, who is popularly called AMBO, lauded the Minister’s impeccable track-records of selfless service to humanity in both public and private sectors describing him as ‘an exemplary leader of no equal means’.

The former guber candidate served as Managing Director of Osun State Investment Company Limited, OSICOL and Finance Commissioner under Governors Rauf Aregbesola and Adegboyega Oyetola, before his appointment as Marine minister’s Special Adviser and later got appointed as Managing Director of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), an agency under the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy.

AMBO, in a statement he issued in Osogbo and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com  saluted the birthday celebrant for his genuine love, compassion and empathy for mankind. 

He specifically thanked the former governor for his fatherly roles, mentorship and benevolence that had redefined his destiny to greatness. 

He recalled Oyetola’s verifiable public track records, unassailable impacts, quality leadership, stellar performance and outstanding achievements while serving the good people of Osun State as Chief of Staff, Government House, Osogbo,and later as Executive Governor and currently Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, describing him as ‘a noble leader of repute who leads with the fear of God and love for all’.

Oyebamiji praised his boss for boosting the nation’s revenue profile and turning around the financial fortunes of Nigeria in the maritime sector describing the astronomical transformation as unprecedented in the history of the country. 

‘With a heart full of joy, praises and gratitude, I heartily felicitate my boss, our leader, mentor, father figure and destiny -helper, the former governor of our dear state and the current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency, Dr. Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, on the occasion of his 72nd birthday. 

My boss, I salute your courage even in the face of adversity, you remained unperturbed. I equally treasure your avowed commitment, dedication, astuteness, forthrightness, genuity and unconditional love for me in particular and humanity in general. 

As a man of proven track-records in both public and private sectors, you have indeed demonstrated quality leadership in all fronts, and as a man of integrity, discipline, loyalty, sacrifice and honesty, your immense contributions to the growth and upliftment of our party and her faithful cannot be quantified. We are proud of your indelible imprints and wealth of experience that had impacted greatly in humanity. 

On behalf of my family and the good people of our party, I celebrate with you, your family, political and professional associates as well as well-wishers all over the world on this day of birth and I pray that Almighty Allah will continue to uphold you and your family, grant you good health and longevity of life as you continue to provide quality leadership and render selfless services to humanity.
