I’ll Transform Economy, Put A Stop To ‘ASUU Strike’ If Elected President-Atiku

I’ll Transform Economy, Put A Stop To ‘ASUU Strike’ If Elected President-Atiku

PDP presidential candidate ,  Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has promised to transform Nigeria’s economy, rebuild the country and change things for the better if elected as president next year.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned Atiku , who said this while addressing party members and supporters in Edo State on Saturday, added that his focus will be on unifying the country and tackling insecurity  if voted into power.

Flanked by other party bigwigs, the former vice president  also  promised to  revive all ailing industries and implement compulsory primary and Secondary education while submitting that the present administration has failed to do the needful in this regard.

Atiku also  said he would ensure that  all the children of school age are made to  be in school.

He  will also in collaboration  with the private sector  revive and link rail lines across the country for easy access and movement of goods and services.

He called on the people of Edo state to  continue to support the PDP  promising that they would be rewarded for  their loyalty.

Criticizing the All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku said the ruling party has destroyed everything in the country.

He also said  lecturers at public universities in the country will not have any reason to go on strike on his watch.

‘They have destroyed the economy of this country. They have destroyed your educational opportunities. They have destroyed your job opportunities. APC is not a party to the supported. Therefore, we call on you to continue to be loyal to PDP and PDP will be loyal to you.

We will send back all our eligible children to school. They must go to school; every child must go to school. If you remember, during the PDP years, we established compulsory primary school education from primary to secondary school and we are tasking Nigerians with educating these children.

But this government is not keeping to that promise. We promise you; every child must go to school and our universities will not go on strike, we promise you that one by the grace of God.

Again, we promise to revive the economy of this country. We will make sure that our industries, our factories, resume production in this country. We will make sure that there are enough jobs for our young people  who are passing out from the schools. This is what we mean by reviving the economy’ he said-Team@orientactualmags.com
