2027: Kwara ADC Guber Candidate Promises To Stop Capital Flight If Elected Governor
Kwara State ADC governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Zakari Mohammed has promised to end capital flight and ensure that ‘Kwara money’ remains in the state by prioritizing indigenous contractors.
Noting that he will be a governor for all, he added that his administration will ensure a ‘Kwara for all’ where citizens can realize their dreams without needing undue influence from anyone.
Team@orientactualmags.com reports that Rt. Hon. Zakari Mohammed, who spoke during an interactive meeting with members of the party in Ubandawaki Ward at Pakata Roundabout, Ilorin, on Wednesday, also said he will be a leader with listening ears.
Calling the PDP a mere ‘guest house’ for the ruling APC, Hon. Mohammed urged Kwarans and Nigerians at large to avoid political ambiguity and cast a straight-ticket vote for the ADC, which remains fully committed to an aggressive ‘affordability agenda.’
He submitted that the ADC presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, remains deeply passionate about easing the economic hardships currently confronting Nigerians.
Hon Zakari Mohammed also noted that the former Vice President has shown a clear commitment to reversing the current administration’s fuel policy by restoring the petrol subsidy under a structured framework.
He added that the fight is collectively about changing the country for the better, urging Kwarans and other Nigerians to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ready.
Hon. Zakari Mohammed was accompanied by the Director-General of his Campaign Council, Alhaji Mas’ud Adebimpe; head of the Campaign Council in Kwara Central, Alhaji Funsho Isa Nuhu; the State ADC Secretary, Alhaji Bolaji Alege; the State Auditor, Alhaji Adangba; Hon. Garuba Idris; chairman of the party in Ilorin West Local Government, Alhaji Saheed Olanrewaju; and other ADC bigwigs.
The visiting ADC chieftains were received by party members and supporters in Ubandawaki Ward, led by their ward Chairman, Alhaji Isiaka Eleweogede.
