Sokoto Village Head, 10 Others Arrested For Drug Trafficking
The village head of Gidan Abba, Bodinga Local Government, Sokoto state, Abubakar Ibrahim, has been arrested in connection with drug trafficking.

38-year-old Abubakar was arrested along with ten others by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) officials in seven northern states.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned Spokesman for the NDLEA, Mr Femi Babafemi, who disclosed this in a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday, noted that Ibrahim, who was nabbed with 3kgs of cannabis sativa and 4,000 tablets of exol-5 , was among the 11 suspects arrested in interdiction operations in which 991,320 pills of pharmaceutical opioids and 1,251kgs of cannabis and khat, as well as 46.637kgs of methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin, were recovered by the NDLEA agents in seven states.
He noted that at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja Lagos, NDLEA agents attached to the SAHCO import shed on Wednesday 26th October intercepted 15 cartons containing 802,000 pills of Tramadol imported from Dubai, UAE and Karachi, Pakistan.
‘While 10 cartons of Tramadol 225mg came in from Dubai on Ethiopian Airlines flight, four cartons of 100mg and a carton of 225mg Tramadol came from Karachi, Pakistan on another Ethiopian Airlines flight’ he added- Team@orientactualmags.com
