Gov Abdulrazaq Commended For His Foresight As Kwara  TV Board Chairman  Inaugurates  New Cameras , Transmission Equipment In Ilorin

Six brand, new cameras and a state-of-the-art transmission equipment procured by the Kwara State Government for Kwara TV were  on Monday inaugurated  in Ilorin, the state capital.

Governor Abdulrazaq’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye noted in a statement made available to  Team@orientactualmags.com that  Kwara TV Board Chairman, Alhaji Hameed Adio, who inaugurated   the equipment at the TV station along Apata Yakuba, Ilorin,  thanked Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq for his foresight, assistance, and love for the station.

He said with the procurement of these first class broadcast equipment and the recent inauguration  of the new Kwara Radio station in Kaiama to cater for the needs of the people of the Kwara North Senatorial district , who  had hitherto  made do with  radio stations in neighboring Benin Republic, the Governor has demonstrated beyond doubt that his administration ‘is media-friendly’.

Alhaji Adio also remarked that the new equipment will assist in improving the quality of the Station’s signals, while the cameras will be deployed to cover more people -oriented programmes.

 The Kwara TV Board Chairman also commended the Honourable Commissioner for Communications, Mr. Olabode Towoju for his assistance and encouragement which had helped in uplifting the Station.

While commending the board members, GM, management, and staff of the station for their steadfastness, the former Nigerian Olympic Captain urged the operators of the new equipment to be extra careful while handling them.

Speaking earlier,  the Station’s General Manager, Mr. Michaels Olatunde,  had explained that the broadcast equipment are the very latest in the market adding that no TV station in the entire North central geopolitical zone can boast of having such  a top-notch, modern and latest equipment with which Kwara TV can initiate live transmission of events from anywhere in the state.
