Ahead of the 2023 Kwara state gubernatorial election, a poll conducted by the ANAP Foundation has shown that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has maintained a big lead over co- guber candidates.
The poll tipped AbdulRazaq as gaining a landslide victory if the election were conducted today.
AbdulRazaq ,who is incumbent governor of the state, is the APC candidate and he is seeking re-election.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned Atedo, who disclosed this while appearing as a guest on Channels TV, said Governor AbdulRazaq is popular across the three senatorial districts, with Kwara North being his stronghold. Atedo is the Founder of ANAP Foundation and Stanbic IBTC.
The PDP guber candidate , Alhaji Shauibu Yaman Abdullahi, who came a distant second and got 11%, is from Kwara North.
SDP guber candidate, Alhaji Hakeem Lawal, came a very distant third with 3% while Governor AbdulRazaq won the poll by securing 30%.
An analysis of the whole percentages allocated for other candidates across the three senatorial districts shows that they didn’t measure up with those of AbdulRazaq.
