Osun state PDP on Friday described leaders of the state APC as ‘shameless partakers and defenders of ongoing plundering of common wealth of Osun state people’ and ‘a team that will soon have their day before panels of enquiry and anti-corruption agencies’.
The party in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by Mr Bamiji Oladele , its Director of Media, insisted that it had not in any way goofed while stating its readiness to present ‘supporting evidence ‘ and establish the veracity of the allegations raised against the Governor Gboyega Oyetola administration .
‘We are compiling and preparing a detailed petition to be sent to the anti-corruption agencies ; EFCC, ICPC and others. We are providing details of the sharing of the exotic vehicles and the beneficiaries.
We have documentary proof of about 15 vehicles with the First Lady, 20 top cars with the Governor’s son, and about 30 variously shared to five other top officials’ PDP had submitted in a statement issued in Osogbo on Thursday.
‘We want to state unequivocally that we are not serial liars, flippant sore losers and election deniers like the failed APC and its State Chairman, Gboyega Famodun, a man, who had failed to deliver his ward and local government in the last guber election.

The plan to pay a huge amount to the illegal council chairmen which we leaked to the public has been carried out. A first grade commercial bank was used to transfer N10million naira each to the Chairmen. We have all the records.
The issue of car gifting across the top echelon of government is backed up with documentary records containing the plate numbers and models of cars already made available to such officials. Deflecting by hyping jeeps as a nomenclature amounts to hiding behind a pointing finger.
For the myopic mind denying plans to loot Sure-P fund, the whole of Osun has facts and figures of the criminal venture including the commercial bank that is being pressured to handle the disbursement. The meeting held this morning to compel the pillage was closely monitored by the people of Osun state.
As a responsible political party in a state where investigative journalism has been silenced and where civil society activism is stifled, we are compelled to assume the role of anti-corruption advocates.
As a stakeholder to take state leadership in a few days’ time, we have successfully discharged the sacred role of an opposition party, exposing corruption and pressing for good governance.
Under a patriot, our State Caretaker Chairman, Dr Adekunle Akindele, Osun people were given a historical platform allowing them to uncover heartless stripping of state assets.
Let it be put on the record that all appointed and elected officials who partake in ransacking state and local governments treasury will be held to account. We are compiling necessary documentation for the attention of EFCC and the ICPC.
Civil servants serving or retired who enable and collaborate to carry out the fleecing of state assets should get prepared to answer questions at the EFCC and ICPC. We will not only ensure that they get sanctioned but also diligently prosecuted to deter others from doing such in the future.
