Abdulganiyu Baki, Kwara Popular Doctor, Dies In Ilorin
One of the ‘popular’ medical doctors in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital, Dr. Abdulganiy Baki, died on Thursday. .
Team@orientactualmags.com learned the Islamic funeral prayer (Salatul Janazah) had since been held for him at his family house, Popo-Giwa, Ile Oyan (Mosalasi Gogoro), Ilorin.
The late Dr Baki , who established the popular Baki Clinic, Oloje, Ilorin, was also a politician during his lifetime.
Apart from being one of the leaders of the Otoge Movement ahead of the 2019 general election, the easy-going doctor also headed the committee that was tasked with searching for a new party by the Bashir Bolarinwa faction of the Kwara state APC last year.
His committee had recommended three parties including SDP and ZLP and they had since settled for the SDP and already produced a gubernatorial candidate.
The party has also ahead of the 2023 general election, fielded candidates for other elective positions- Team@orientactualmags.com
