37-Year-Old Kaigaman Boi  Found Dead  In Bauchi Hotel Room

Mr Chukwunonso Chukwujekwu, a 37-year-old businessman, has been found dead in a hotel in  Tudun Wada area of Boi, Bogoro Local Government, Bauchi state.

The late Chukwunonso, an indigene of Anambra State, who is based  in Boi town.  holds the prestigious title of Kaigaman Boi.

He was turbanned  as  Kaigaman by the paramount ruler of Boi, Mallam Bala Likita, a few years ago.

 Team@orientactualmags.com learned a member of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) in the area , Joel Daniel said residents were confused as Chukwunonso according to him died in suspicious circumstances . 

Daniel explained that the deceased was found dead in a hotel room after he  had been declared  missing and  the PCRC and  the Police Division in Bogoro had been informed of the development.

Spokesman for the  Bauchi state Police Command , Ahmed Wakil , a Superintendent of Police,  has also confirmed the incident.

‘One Mrs. Grace Chukwujekwu, 27, reported at the Bogoro Divisional headquarters on 30th November 2022 that her husband, Mr Chukwunonso Chukwujekwu, left home for his provision shop located at Boi and since then did not return home.

Immediately she reported, the DPO Bogoro led a team of detectives to organize a search party in the area. Consequently, he was found dead in a hotel room situated at Tudun Wada area of Boi in Bogoro LGA lying on the floor foaming saliva in the mouth.

The DPO and his men took his body to the General Hospital, Bogoro where he was confirmed dead by the medical doctor on duty. The Commissioner of Police has ordered for an autopsy to determine the cause of the death.
