Signs have emerged that former Chairman of Osun state PDP, Chief Sunday Bisi , will soon have a great comeback to the Bisket area , Osogbo state secretariat of the party.
The top politician , who had at different times served as Publicity Secretary and state chairman of the party, will before long return to his position and this time around, he will be serving as chairman under a PDP-controlled government.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned Chief Sunday Bisi has been given the go-ahead with regard to his comeback bid as PDP officials and stakeholders in the six local governments in Ijesaland on 5th December, 2022 held an important meeting and unanimously agreed to present him as a ‘consensus candidate’.
Dr Akindele Adekunle currently heads the party in the state as Chairman of the Caretaker Committee.
It was learned that attendees of the meeting include representative of Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, Hon Olufemi Fadipe Oloka and Ijesa South PDP reps candidate, Hon Sanya Omirin.
‘Resolutions reached at the meeting attended by caretaker chairmen of the PDP in the six Local Governments in Ijesaland and the party’s candidates for the 2023 General Election on the 5th of December,2022.
The chairmen of the Caretaker Committees, candidates, leaders and members in the six local governments in Ijesaland as well as the leaders of our party and Candidates for the 2023 General Election do hereby endorse Hon Sunday Bisi for chairman of the People’s Democratic Party , Osun State.
We have done this on behalf of all the Leaders and members of the party in the six Local Governments in Ijesaland. We implore all our party leaders and members to agree with this decision in the interest of progress and tranquility’ the party officials and leaders submitted in a communiqué jointly signed by Alade Ibironke , Atakunmosa East L.G, Hon Olubunmi Farodoye, Atakunmosa West L.G , Barr.
