Kwara Govt Committed To Implementing Housing Schemes- Gov AbdulRazaq
The Kwara State Government has once again, expressed its commitment to implementing various housing schemes for different categories of beneficiaries across the state.
This was disclosed by Governor Abdurahman Abdulrazaq during the commissioning of the Federal Government’s Housing Projects under the National Housing Programme, (NHP) Phase 1, at Asa Dam Road, Ilorin.
Mr Rafiu Ajakaye , who is Abdulrazaq’s Chief Press Secretary, noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that the Governor , who was represented by the Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Aliyu Muhammad Saifuddeen, commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the Minister of Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola ‘for considering Kwara as one of the beneficiary states of the laudable projects, which has trickling down effects that include job creation along the value chains of building construction and general economic benefits for the people of the state’.
He further assured that Kwara State under Governor Abdulrazaq is ready to partner with the Federal Government in the delivery of critical infrastructure and human capital development.
He said the administration has already done a lot when it comes to roads, education, water and power, adding that : ‘We have also invested heavily in human capital development through various Social Investment Programmes, including the Kwarapreneur, Owo Arugbo and Owo Isowo for businesses etc in which women and young people are the greatest beneficiaries’.
He therefore called on the potential subscribers of the newly constructed housing units by the federal government to put them to good use in order to encourage and attract more Federal Housing Projects to the state for the benefit of others who may be interested in the future-Team@orientactualmags.com
