4 Governors , Kingibe , Others Receive ‘Award Of Excellence’ In Niger Republic

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu  of Kebbi state has been honoured with an ‘Award of Excellence’ in Niamey, Niger Republic .

President Mohamed Bazoum presented the  ‘Award of Excellence’  to Bagudu in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the socio-economic development of Nigeria and Niger  Republic.

It is the country’s highest national ‘award of excellence’

The president also acknowledged the Kebbi State Governor’s immense contribution to the promotion of sustainable peaceful coexistence between the citizens of Nigeria and  the citizens of  Niger Republic .

 Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger state, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state, Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state, Ambassador Babagana Kingibe, Alhaji Dahiru Barau Mangal and  former president Goodluck Jionathan’s aide ,Hassan Tukur also received   ‘award of excellence’ in recognition of their contribution to the promotion of bilateral ties between the two countries.

 President Bazoum Mohamed had earlier during the event  also  honoured President Umaro Mokhtar Sissoco of Guinea Bissau , and some distinguished  citizens of  his country  with awards for their role  in the development of Niger Republic.

 President of the Nigerian Senate, Ahmad Lawan  also  attended the epoch – making event .

Bagudu’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Sunday that the governor was   accompanied by top government officials including  Commissioner of Finance, Hon. Ibrahim Muhammad Augie,  Commissioner of Basic Education, Rt. Hon. Hassan Muhammad Shalla, Commissioner of Information, Hon. Abdullahi Muhammad Magoro and Commissioner  of Environment, Hon.
