Osun Baptist Conference Hails Gov Adeleke’s Role In Getting Abducted Members Rescued

The Osun Baptist Conference of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, on Friday, commended  Governor  Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke  for the role the state government played in getting their kidnapped church members released from captivity.

Recall that Governor Adeleke had earlier in the week ordered  the security agencies to swing into action and ensure  the release of the abductees.

The conference noted that the Governor’s timely intervention and the directives he issued  to all security agencies contributed to the initial release of  two among the victims earlier in the week and the three remaining victims on Friday.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned Rev. Dr Paul Kolawole and Rev. Dr Sunday Ogundijo, who are the President, and Chairman of Osun Baptist Conference respectively, expressed gratitude to the governor in a letter jointly signed and addressed to him on Friday.

‘On behalf of the Osun Baptist Conference, the Nigerian Baptist Convention, and the entire Iwo Baptist Community, I write to sincerely appreciate Your Excellency on the vital role you played towards the rescue of four of our people who were kidnapped between January 11th and 16th 2023.

It is interesting to inform Your Excellency that we highly value your timely intervention most especially the giving of executive order and other measures taken to fast-track the rescue process.

It is interesting to inform Your Excellency that two people were released on the 17th, while the last two were just released today .Friday 20th January, 2023 even though with cumulative payment of ransoms of N10 Million.

We will appreciate it if Your Excellency will grant us an audience by giving us a day to bring the four victims to you in order to show our sense of appreciation.
