Popular Islamic Scholar, Najeemdeen Binuyo, Dies In Lagos
Sheikh Najeemdeen Adegbite Binuyo , a respected and popular Islamic scholar and an author, is dead.
Sheikh Binuyo, a renowned author and scholar, and a well-respected broadcast journalist, died in the early hours of Tuesday, 24 January 2023 at the ripe old age of 96.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned Sheikh Binuyo’s death was announced by the Lagos Mainland Muslim Community on Tuesday.
He is survived by his wife, Alhaja Sidiquat Binuyo, and children.
One of his children, Prince Abdullahi Adeyanju Binuyo , served as Deputy Chief of Staff, Government House, under Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola.
The Salat al-Janazah (Islamic obligatory funeral prayer) will be held for the deceased Islamic scholar at the Lagos State Secretariat Central Mosque, Tuesday, 24 January 2023 after Salatul Zuhr (the afternoon prayer), while his body will later be lowered into the grave at the Lagos Mainland Muslim Community Cemetery , Ofada, Ogun state- Team@orientactualmags.com
