Nurudeen Adeyemi Honoured For Supporting, Promoting Technology At Grassroots

Founder of ENACT Innovation Hub, Ajase-Ipo, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, has been honoured by Tech2Grassroot Africa for his contribution to the development of technology in Kwara state, especially digital inclusion.

Adeyemi, an aerospace engineer, is based in the United States of America.

 A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Tuesday noted that the award was presented to Adeyemi during the ‘Kwara Digital Education Summit’ which was held at the Banquet Hall, opposite Government House, Ilorin, Kwara state- an event held to mark the 2023 International Day of Education.

The programme, which had as its theme ‘Investing in People, Prioritizing Education’ brought stakeholders from Education, Technology, and Engineering together. 

Adeyemi’s representative while giving the acceptance speech on his behalf, thanked the organizers for the recognition and promised that he will continue to contribute his quota to human capital development, especially digital and tech skills acquisition by the young people.

‘Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun is a community development advocate, who has Igbomina Mobile Clinic as his brainchild , ditto   ENACT medical mission through which residents and indigenes of  the seven local governments in Kwara South have been impacted since 2016.

He is also the founder of ENACT Innovation Hub that is greatly impacting the lives of our people in Kwara South in particular and Kwara State as a whole through the introduction of free training sessions on Digital economy and Entrepreneurship Development opportunities.

Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun has over the years, demonstrated his love for the people of Kwara South through security, education, health, and technological interventions. He contributed to the development of the Mobile Police Barrack development in Offa. He also contributed to the recently inaugurated state of the art Medical Centre at Offa General Hospital. Also, he helped to spearhead and contribute to the development and completion of Igbomina Radio station.
